Paul Le Clercq

Paul Le Clercq (The Hague 1965) is a visual artist and dealer in 20th century design chairs. After training as a tailor and fashion designer, he studied architectural design at the Rietveld Academy. Photography was the creative direction he wanted to delve into.
He then started working as a journalistic and documentary photographer for Het Parool, among others. In between working on assignment, le Clercq compiled about 10 photo books. Le Clercq always works in encyclopaedic series,with a particular focus on the everyday and its immediate surroundings.
