Toon Vieijra (1948) is a psychologist, musician, composer, and photographer. It’s in his role as a photographer that he has been most active over the past decade. He has been commissioned by the Conservatory of Amsterdam to document artists and their performances. Recently, he undertook a project in Vienna called “The Harnoncourt Collection,” in which he captured “up close and personal” photographs of 23 extremely vintage and rare string instruments, resulting in 23 brochures and 1 booklet.

His independent work is showcased in the project “The Traveler,” which was created during the COVID-19 pandemic. This project features a toy figurine at various stages, observing different composite landscapes of Zuiderwoude.
