Michiel Poodt (1968) is an Amsterdam based photographer. He attended the ‘MTS voor fotografie‘ , graduated from the Royal Academy of Art (Den Haag) in 1992 and has shot campaigns for many clients. Michiel‘s non commissioned works are diverse and usually focus on a surreal interpretation of the subject.

In his recent project “MADADAM” he explores the beauty of reflections in the Amsterdam canals to create abstracts of Amsterdam landmarks that are just beyond recognition. The selected images are presented as‘ double-square‘ prints and as scarves.
